It has been hard to find this closure through my journey in Christianity as she was not a very religious person, but as little as I know about God and Jesus Christ, I feel that God would recognize her goodness and grant her mercy despite if she did not repent or fully devote her life to Him. The Christian life is not merely about observing religious rituals; it is a profound *transformation*. In this passage, the Apostle Paul clearly explains what a believer's purpose, desire, and pursuit should be after accepting Christ.
We can meditate on this passage in three key stages:
### *1. The Condition: If You Have Been Raised with Christ*
When Paul says, "If you have been raised," he is not raising a doubt; rather, he is affirming a reality.
* *Death and Resurrection:* When we are baptized, we die to our old sinful nature and are raised with Christ to a new life (Romans 6:4).
* *A Transformed State:* If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. If you are united with Christ, you are qualified to receive the blessings of heaven.
* *To Ponder:* Do our old natures still cling to us? Or are we living as the "new man" who has been raised with Christ?
### *2. The Goal: Where Christ Is Seated (The Focus)*
Paul provides an address—a specific location—for what we ought to seek. It is "where Christ is seated at the right hand of God."
* *The Seat of Authority:* The "right hand" signifies authority, honor, and dominion. Our focus should not rest upon world leaders or global conflicts, but upon Christ, who is seated above all things.
* *Citizens of Heaven:* Our true citizenship resides in heaven. Just as a traveler visiting a foreign land does not forget the culture of their homeland, we—though living in this world—must uphold the values of heaven.
### *3. Action: Seek the Things Above (The Action)
"Seek" is not a one-time act; it signifies a continuous pursuit.
* *What are the "things above"?*
* The fruits of the Spirit, such as love, joy, and peace (Galatians 5:22).
* The Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33).
* The winning of souls and eternal matters.
* *What are the "things below"?* Temporary pride, envy, worldly desires, and perishable wealth.
* *How do we seek?* Seeking the things above means giving God first place in our daily decisions—through prayer, reading the Scriptures, and relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
* *Conclusion*
Although the things of the earth are visible to our eyes, they are temporary. However, the heavenly things—where Christ is seated—are eternal.
*A Challenge to the Congregation:*
What is your pursuit today? Where do your thoughts race the moment you wake up in the morning? As believers who have been raised with Christ, let us turn away from earthly things and dedicate ourselves to seeking the higher, heavenly things.
*Prayer:* "Dear Father, thank You for raising us to life with Christ. Grant us the grace not to fix our minds on the perishable worldly things around us, but to seek Christ—who is seated at Your right hand—and the things above. In Jesus' name, Amen."
I need advice
The thing is, I have a big dilemma that I've been doubting for a long time. There's this group of Korean guys called BTS that I've known for 5 years, and I listened to them until last year when I decided to listen only to Christian music. I used to idolize them, and they distanced me from God, but now that I'm a new person, they don't represent any factor that could distance me from God. However, a few months ago, they announced that they would come to give a concert in my city, something super unexpected, surprising, which left me expectant, happy, excited, and I cried a little. I was determined to go, then I thought, is this okay? I've heard that concerts are places of idolatry, and for others, it might be, but I no longer fall for that, I know the truth of the world.
So I've also looked at the lyrics of the songs, many are about love, friendships, and self-love, topics that I consider harmless to my relationship with Christ. However, I found that in some of their new songs that they are going to present during the concert, they go against lust, they have lyrics of this double meaning type. But there are only a few, so I don't know what to do, is it okay for me to go and enjoy the ones that do have good lyrics and the ones that don't, I don't sing them and show myself serious?
And I also thought about having God as the center of everything, and these days I came across a video that inspired me that I could make some handmade details to give to the people who go to the concert, so that these have verses, a message that brings them closer to God.

I am not well, truly, it's the first time I really affirm that I am not well here. I am very tired of being here, I don't understand why I am here, for what reasons, what I should do. I don't know anything, I just want to understand what God wants from me, because I don't feel like being here, you know? I am exhausted from worrying excessively, from being so distressed, so saddened, and I can't get these feelings out of me, I simply can't even explain them.
I am not able to concentrate properly in classes, nor when I study for exams, I even have an average grade below last year's, of course, it's because the subject is more difficult, but I can't even organize myself to study, I don't even know what I should do tomorrow or this week. I am feeling disturbed, I can't think about the things I need to do, and when I have to do something, I have no motivation or anything like that, even if it needs to be done, I don't know how to explain.
Since then, I haven't understood life the right way, I know we live to glorify God, but why do we exist? Why should I study such school subjects if I won't even use them after my life ends?
I feel lost in the middle of life, and life won't stop to listen to me, but I have already tried to talk to God, but it seems He never answers me, and this anguish only grows more and more, my will to get out of bed is no longer the same as last year's will, it seems my strength has already run out, but why do I still get up?
Please, help me, I am very disturbed with my life.

The Vision is i heard Rocks falling, and saw those Huge Gigantic Rocks falling on the Philippines like Meteors. And I heard People Screaming and saw The Whole Philippines Split into Two like a Big Split Especially Luzon. How did i confirm that this come from God:
I myself usually doubt Visions and Dreams too if it were really came from the Enemy or not. So i asked God in Prayer to Confirm that this Vision really came from Him, that if i flip a page in the Bible, He will show me his Answer if its either False Prophecy or not. And when i Flipped. It Showed the Book of Joel, Literally the First Page, First Chapter says.

Please pray for me, I continue to struggle with sin. I’ve struggled with pornography and lust for a long time. It seems like the more I want to get closer to God the more I struggle and I’m worried about loosing my salvation. I ask God every day to deliver me from pornography, lust and anything else that holds me back from getting closer to him. I would like to thank for the things God is doing in my life. Until a few months ago, I started attending church. I didn't know any Christians, I didn't know anyone from the church. I prayed for God to put people who love Him above all else. Nowadays, I am with a wonderful group, people who shine when they talk about Christ. They are helping me in this process of getting to know God more, the church, etc. (it's been a few months since I started attending) 🤍
Please pray for me i keep choosing sin and deliberate sin and the ways of the world that will lead me to nothing but death and destruction. Please pray for me that i return to God with whole heart and serve Him only🙏

The Joy of the Righteous Amidst Crisis
Base Text: Habakkuk 3
Subtheme: Faith that Sings Even Without Harvest
Introduction:
Habakkuk begins the book with questions but ends with worship. He did not see the change in circumstances — but his perspective changed.
God did not promise to deliver him from the crisis, but He revealed Himself as sufficient amidst the crisis. True faith is not based on material blessings but on God's faithfulness.
1. The Prophet's Prayer: Cry for Revival (v.1–2)
"Revive, O Lord, Your work... in the midst of the years, make it known..."
True revival is a work of God and must be sought with fear and humility.
The prayer of the righteous desires not just relief but the glory of God manifested.
"In Your wrath, remember mercy" — a request that reveals holy fear and faith.
Practical application:
Let us seek revival not for emotion, but for fear and reverence.
God responds to the prayer of a contrite heart (Is 57:15).
2. The Vision of Divine Glory: Remembering God's Actions (v.3–15)
Habakkuk poetically describes God's powerful manifestation in history:
God coming from Teman and Paran (Ex 19)
Plagues, earthquakes, judgments — signs of divine intervention
God saves His people and crushes the enemies (v.13)
Faith is nourished by the memory of God's deeds (Ps 77:11).
God does not change: He who acted in the past still acts today.
Biblical history reveals a faithful, warrior, and Savior God.
Remember past deliverances. This strengthens your faith in the present.
God remains powerful, even if He does not operate in the same way today.
3. The Prophet's Heart: Faith Amidst Fear (v.16)
"When I heard, my belly trembled... I trembled..."
Habakkuk feels fear — he knows destruction will come — but he remains firm. Fear does not destroy his faith; it only reveals his humanity.
Faith is not the absence of fear, but trust in God despite fear.
The righteous may tremble — but still trust (Ps 56:3).
Do not condemn yourself for feeling fear; surrender your fear to God.
The firmness of faith is demonstrated in obedience, not in the absence of emotion.
4. The Confession of Faith: "Yet I Will Rejoice" (v.17–18)
"Though the fig tree may not blossom... I will rejoice in the Lord."
Habakkuk prophesies times of total scarcity:
Nothing in the field, in the pen, on the tree.
But his joy does not depend on circumstances — it is in God.
The true joy of the believer is in who God is, not in what He gives.
The Christian lives to glorify God, even in suffering (Phil 4:11–13).
This reflects the theology of the cross: victory in weakness, glory in suffering.
Cultivate a faith that sings in the valley, not just on the mount.
Praise even without answers — because God is worthy.
Make your joy a choice by faith, not an emotional reaction.
5. The Final Confidence: God Makes Me Walk on High Places (v.19)
"The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like deer's feet..."
God strengthens the believer to face mountains, not just to avoid them.
"Heights" here represent spiritual victory, emotional stability, and inner growth.
With God, you can walk above circumstances.
There is grace to stand firm — even in times of downfall around.
Conclusion: Mature Faith Sings Even Without Harvest
Habakkuk ends the book with a hymn — not because everything was resolved, but because God revealed Himself.
We do not have all the answers — but we have God's presence and promise.
Do not wait for external changes to have peace: trust in God's character.
Cultivate a deep spirituality, rooted in the sufficiency of Christ.
Live as one who knows the God of history — not as one who is a hostage to the news.

Guys I feel like I am commiting James 4:17 becuse I feel like I have to tell something to my mom but its so so so Embarrassing and I am so ashamed to tell her and I have an Anxiety Disorder which sky rockets my Anxiety so fast when I think I am commiting James 4:17 that I just saw my hand shake and I felt my head shake because I am so so so stressed out. I feel like Jesus when he was in the garden when he was praying when he knew he was going to die but change that feeling of knowing to die to embarrassed and ashamed and scared because I feel like I have to tell my mom.
For me, it is now the Easter holidays, and I want to remind you that the gift of salvation is undeserved, and there is no good deed you can do to earn it. It is a free gift given by Jesus through His sacrifice on the cross, and good deeds naturally follow after you are born again to prove that your faith is real and authentic (without good deeds, your faith is dead). Heaven is not for good people but for forgiven people. May this message bless you, and may you have a happy Easter with the remembrance of Jesus. Amen!

My journey with God has been tough its like a rocky road always unsure what will happen and my fire seems to burn out even though im serving him in the music ministry . Back when i was active and had the desire the hear his voice i had a dream where i saw him but that dream was a long time ago. I broke my promise again just when i thought there had been no more hope for me i attended a seminar it was a 2 day seminar and on the last day the Bishop suddenly pointed at me and said that God has chosen me to be a prophet i was baffled cause I'm someone who is currently struggling with my faith how can i be a prophet? Simple worship leading im already struggling how can i even proceed to that position. I need to live like Jesus. I don't know if I'm living for Jesus. I don't know if I have unacknowledged sin. I trust in what Jesus did on the cross, but I sometimes feel like I'm headed to hell. I had a friend who told me that the Oneness is the truth, but I still believe in the Trinity. I can see that he doesn't want to be my friend anymore. I'm diagnosed with autism and I do miss cues at times, and even I know that Jesus wasn't talking about actual water when he was talking to the Samaritan woman. I never been married before, but I still dream of marriage and being loved by not just God, but a man too even though no man will be honest with what they think of me. All I get is snickers at me and I didn't do anything amusing. But I can't imagine how someone who's been with 5 different guys and be dehydrated of love. By that point, she thought marriage was just security, the Samaritan woman ditched the romance and joy of being in love. And as someone who has never been in love with anyone except God that is sad.

The first aspect that distinguishes the life of a servant is love. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." Love is the foundation upon which all service is built. Without love, actions become dry and futile. A true servant is one who works with all his heart, feels the suffering of others, and responds with compassion and understanding.
Secondly, spiritual growth is an essential part of a servant's life. We must always be in a state of development and growth, as Peter said in 2 Peter 3:18: "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." The servant relies on an intimate connection with God through prayer and continuous study of the Bible. This relationship provides him with the wisdom and inspiration he needs to guide others.
The third aspect is responsible leadership. A servant must possess the qualities of a wise leader who guides God's flock in righteous ways. In [Matthew 20:26-28](https://thecrosstalk.com/holy-bible/matthew/20/26/matthew/20/28/), Jesus says: "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant." Leadership in God's kingdom is considered service, where the servant directs others towards Christ and encourages them to grow in their faith.

In 1 Timothy 4:12, Paul urges Timothy to be an example to the believers in "word, conduct, love, spirit, faith, and purity." Furthermore, the servant faces challenges and difficulties. These may come in the form of rejection from others, periods of spiritual dryness, or even psychological pressures. However, the Bible encourages the servant not to retreat but to stand firm in his faith. Paul said in Ephesians 2:10: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."
