Layla. Pray for Layla. I just came out of jury duty and a couple steps away from me was a group of woman praying out loud. I heard “in the name of Jesus,” and one of them sobbing. I then felt led by the Holy Spirit to stay. I realized I had a pencil in my hand from inside the courthouse, so I went back in to return it but the officer told me to keep it. I came out and I ripped out a paper the clerk had given me and wrote a prayer in the back but when I approached the group, I asked them if they wanted prayer, so I went prayer warrior intercession with them. These small situations are orchestrated encounters from the Lord, as one of them put it, an angel. One of them exchanged numbers with me and I hugged each of them and they invited me to church. They mentioned they need prayer warriors right now for Layla. I don’t know the specifics, but a crime occurred. Be encouraged: what you are facing is not greater than the God you serve. The shaking you feel is not destruction it is alignment. God is strengthening his body, refining his people, and preparing his Church for what is next.

Do not be discouraged by delay. Heaven has not forgotten you. Every seed you’ve sown in obedience, every tear you’ve cried in secret, every moment you chose righteousness over relief God has kept record of it all. Harvest is not canceled. Breakthrough is not delayed forever. The promise still stands.

Body of Christ, lift your head. This is not the hour to grow weary or divided. This is the hour to stand united, love deeper, forgive quicker, and trust God completely. You are not called to blend in with darkness you are called to shine in it.

How valuable must a soul be that both the devil and God BOTH chase after it?

I think it's easy to forget how priceless a soul truly is - i mean everything we do is poured out from the soul. It really does matter what we let into our hearts.

We can open it up to worldly desires and watch the world intoxicated and hurt our hearts, or give our heart to The Lord and allow Him to nourish it with love and goodness - and you'd be amazed at what he can do.
