When I do become a wife one day, I wonder about dropping the last name 'Izzard'. And taking my husband's name completely. I was never an Izzard anyways, Maurice(biological father) and that family never took me in and accepted me. Not like I was a Williams since Mr. Williams(former stepfather)didn't adopt me. So when I do get married, will I let go of the name 'Izzard'.

During the period when I was preparing for my waec( an exams that will determine if I enter uni this year or not), I was really scared, worried, and constantly overthinking. I came here and asked you all to pray for me, and so many of you took the time to do so.
Today, I’m coming back to say God answered our prayers! 🙏🏽🥹 He helped me through the exams, gave me strength, and everything turned out better than I feared.

Just had a close friend of mine, passed away and start thinking about life and reflecting on our path with God and our walk. Where does that leave us now sometimes we question life and its purpose when things like this happen and how small relevant things could be I think at the end of the day we must always be remembered as children of God and that were going home after our journey on earth is complete. Enjoy the gifts remain with the positive attitude love everyone while you’re still alive. Laugh like there’s no tomorrow hug like you’ll never see them again spend time with him even when you’re tired enjoy what life has to offer and praise in the darkness and the light and definitely in trouble times.
Many people at my company haven't been given hours in a few weeks. We have no answers, no work, and no help. Some people can't afford groceries or healthcare. Please pray with me that God will make things good and right, that work will arrive, and we can thrive again. I trust that help is coming, but we need help.

My mom hasn't forgiven me for my sins so she remembers them to false witness against me and I already repented them. God forgave me and doesn't remember them no more yet she does to have leverage and power over me. No wonder she doesn't trust me and keeps burning the bridge to connect with me.

The Religious Trap that Jesus Denounced: The Deception of Corban
Is it possible to use religion as a shield to ignore the most basic responsibility? In Mark 7:9-13, Jesus exposed one of the most calculated demonstrations of hypocrisy of his time: the practice of Corban.
The Corban Trick
Under this tradition, a person could declare their belongings or money as Corban (that is, an offering promised to God). The trap was perfect:
Pious Facade: They appeared to society as someone devout who consecrated their resources to the temple.
Lack of Empathy: They used this religious commitment as a legal excuse to deny financial help to their elderly and needy parents.
Real Control: In practice, they retained the use and enjoyment of their own goods while neglecting their family.
A Commandment with a Promise
Jesus harshly confronted this custom by recalling the validity of Exodus 20:12: "Honor your father and your mother." It was not a minor suggestion, but one of the pillars of the Law, reiterated in Deuteronomy 5:16 and Ephesians 6:2-3 as the first commandment accompanied by an explicit promise of well-being and long life.
By placing human tradition above the divine mandate, the religious stripped faith of its moral substance.
The Fundamental Lesson
Jesus' message transcends its historical context: no external devotion or religious ritual can substitute the moral duty of caring for our own. When religion becomes an escape route to avoid doing good at home, it has completely lost its meaning.
Father God,
I ask that You be with me today, tomorrow, and for the rest of this week. Give me the wisdom to speak the right words. I ask for Your blessing and Your hand over this audit, Lord, and I pray that it will have a successful outcome.
There has been a lot of work behind this. There has been effort, preparation, and teamwork. I have tried to lead the best that I can. I know what lies before me, and I know some of the troubles that may be in front of me. But I trust that You will be with me and that You will not forsake me during these difficult times.
Lord, I know this is not the best situation, but I have pushed forward with all my heart to accomplish what needed to be done without compromising my life. I have devoted so much to this career, and I trust that You have equipped me. I know that You have equipped me, Lord.
If the outcome is negative, all I ask is that You give me clarity. Help me understand what You are wanting me to see and where You are leading me next. I seek Your mission and Your truth.
Give me the grace to show Your presence to others. When others make mistakes, Lord, help me remember that we are all human. Help us fix things together, work together as a team, and bring unity instead of division.
I ask that You be with me, my coworkers, and my family as we go through these difficult days. Continue to watch over me and guide me.
Place Your guardian angels around this audit, Lord. Give me wisdom, strength, patience, and peace throughout it.
And Lord, if it is Your will, please let this audit end in three days.
I trust You with the outcome.

This verse exposes lukewarmness and convicts many. They know they need to change, but some don't. There's a level between reading the verse, understanding it, feeling it, putting it into your heart, and applying it to your life. When you read it, you obviously know what it means, but do you carry itinyour life and apply it? I am guilty of this is another saying I am better, but we should always, put it into action.

Actually I want you guys to prayer for the people also who are suffering in War times, natural disasters, harmful diseases, disabilities and world hunger. There is no distance in the spirit and God's power and mercy is Infinitely more than their problems. He is good for we are his Children and He is our supreme Father. The Perfect Model and Our Calling
To understand the transcendence of service, we only need to look at the example of Jesus. In Mark 10:45, the essence of his mission is revealed to us: "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." The King of the universe chose the posture of a servant, forever transforming our definition of greatness.
Freedom to Love and Steward Grace

Service Motivated by Love: In Galatians 5:13, we are warned that freedom should not be an excuse for selfishness, but an opportunity to serve one another with sincere love.

If your struggling with lust or temptation in general, even if you truly want get out of that cycle, desperate to get out but still fall back into that same sinner and over again feeling like "I know I'll just fall back into the same sin again" being free for a week and sinning again and that sparks more sins. There is a way. A young monk approached a desert father and asked pray for me I am being overcome by lust. He asked him over and over again. The desert father saw that a spirit of lust was beside him, and an angel to help him was getting angry with how he handled his intrusive thoughts. That he didn't fall down before God. He told the monk it is you who are consenting to these thoughts. Then he taught him how to combat the thoughts and the monk found rest. His heart was in the right place but still, he sinned. Even when we don't feel it we are consenting to these thoughts, taking pleasure in them. We need to do something else to think about another thing and to not consent to them. Dontput yourself in a situation where you know you'll get tempted. Pray the Jesus prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me a sinner... I hope this will set you free, God bless.
