Hey y’all my name is Jasmine, I am 19 years old. I sometimes find it hard to get close to God. Some days I procrastinate and stray away from praying, or just too lazy to thank God for everything that I have in my life that I should be blessed for. But I just want to say I’m trying and I want everyone to know that life is an ongoing process. Everything gets better. And I just pray over anybody who’s going through anything and who suffering from something. I need you to know that god is bigger than any obstacle in your life. My family and I have been homeless for almost 2 years now. We are so exhausted in every way imaginable and my faith has been so shaken that it makes me very ashamed. Please lift my family up in prayer that God will show up in a mighty way and end our suffering. I cannot begin to explain all we’ve been through. We just crave stability and no one will help us. We don’t qualify for any type of assistance because my husband and I work and they say we make too much money. We don’t even qualify for food stamps. I have been struggling with so manny addictions like being on my phone all day and lust and laziness I have been trying to set limits and cut off my bad addictions but. I hold out for maybe a week then I just give up. Please pray for my father, Paul. During our talk today, he mentioned that being close to God and doing good works of the faith could lead to fanaticism. Though he says he believes in Christ, he has doubts about God's power in his life. He doesn't actively work on his faith, and when I tried to talk to him about it, I got upset and frustrated.
