Kairo is a bright and brave 2-year-old boy who has been fighting to breathe since the day he was born. When he was just 4 days old, he stopped breathing and was rushed to a private doctor, where he was diagnosed with laryngomalacia — a condition that causes the soft tissues of the voice box to collapse, making it hard to breathe.

He needs emergency surgery within the next few weeks or else doctors have advised that there is nothing more that they can do for him, but I believe that we serve a true and faithful God.

I feel so far from God, I feel like he's angry with me, that he's not listening to me. I'm not angry, I know he gives me what I deserve, and what I deserve is not what I want and makes me happy, but it's so hard to bear. Nothing works, to feel so useless and alone. Reflection:
This is one of Jesus most misunderstood statements, yet it carries deep truth.

Jesus is not saying he came to bring violence he came to bring truth, and truth often cuts, divides, and exposes. The “sword” represents:
   •   Division between light and darkness
   •   Separation from sin
   •   A choice between the world and Christ

When Jesus enters a person’s life, everything changes. Sometimes families divide, friendships shift, and relationships are tested. Not because Jesus is destructive but because truth forces decisions.

The gospel confronts, challenges, and convicts. It separates what is holy from what is unholy. Jesus brings peace within us, but his truth doesn’t always bring peace around us especially when people resist the change that Christ brings.

Choosing Christ may cost comfort, relationships, or acceptance, but it brings eternal life and lasting peace with God.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus,
Thank you for being the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Help me to stand boldly for your truth even when it brings division or discomfort. Give me courage to follow you fully, regardless of who does or doesn’t understand.

Strengthen me to endure rejection, misunderstanding, or conflict that comes from choosing you.

Bible Scripture John 6:44 (KJV):

“No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Reflection:
This verse reminds us that salvation is not something we stumble into it is a divine invitation. Jesus teaches that no one can truly come to Him unless the Father draws them. That “drawing” is the gentle pull of the Holy Spirit touching a person’s heart, opening their eyes, and awakening their spirit to recognize their need for Christ.

This means:
   •   Your salvation is intentional, not accidental.
   •   God Himself initiated your journey of faith.
   •   You are wanted, chosen, and pursued by Heaven.

The verse also points to the promise of resurrection that those the Father draws and who respond to Christ will be raised up on the last day. This is assurance, security, and hope for every believer.

Prayer:
Father God,
Thank you for drawing me to Jesus. Thank you for touching my heart, opening my eyes, and calling me into your presence. I recognize that I am only here because you chose me, pursued me, and loved me first.

Reflection:
This verse calls believers to walk in grace, patience, and forgiveness toward one another. The word “forbearing” means to bear with or endure to show tolerance and patience even when others fall short or offend us.

Forgiveness isn’t always easy, but it’s the very foundation of our relationship with Christ. Paul reminds us that we are to forgive others “even as Christ forgave you.” Jesus didn’t wait until we deserved forgiveness he extended it freely out of love.

When we forgive, we break the cycle of offense and open the door to peace. Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting what happened, but choosing to release it so that bitterness doesn’t take root in our hearts. It’s an act of obedience that frees us to love fully and live freely.

In every relationship family, friends, or the church this verse calls us to mirror Christ mercy. The same grace we’ve received, we must also give.

Heavenly Father,

I just started a bedside nursing role at a inpatient rehab hospital, but a opportunity I have given up on, just came around. It was literally out of the blue. I applied to both jobs, but heard from the hospital one first. Then, I suddenly got a email from the other company asking if I still wanted the job. I was offered a management level position in a brand new inpatient psych facility, an area of nursing I have been wanting to get into. Update with the driving test. I wasn’t planning on making another post but I thought why not ig 🤷🏾‍♀️ didn’t end up actually getting to the test because I was making too many mistakes (stuff that I don’t normally do) the lesson I had before the test so my driving instructor was like no, understandably, and I ended up crying behind the wheel 🤧. It just felt like God presence hadn’t been with me, even at a time I needed Him most. Anywho, I’m taking a break from driving due to the stress n lack of funds. Reflection:
This verse is a beautiful reminder of how God chosen people should clothe themselves spiritually. Just as we choose our physical clothing each day, we must intentionally choose our spiritual garments mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.

Paul reminds us that because we are God elect, deeply loved and set apart, our character should reflect his heart. “Bowels of mercies” speaks of compassion that comes from deep within a genuine care and concern for others.

To “put on” these virtues means they are not automatic; we must choose them daily. When others are harsh, we respond with kindness. When we are tested, we remain patient. When pride tempts us, we walk in humility.

This verse is an invitation to live clothed in Christ nature, allowing his spirit to govern our emotions, responses, and relationships.

Prayer:
Father God,
