I am so thankful to God! My sister has not really spoken to me for 35 years. She tolerated me when we were at things like funerals but she had bitterness in her heart. 3 months ago another sister told me the first sister asked her for my phone number. The first sister reached out to me 2 months ago. God has softened her heart. We are rebuilding our relationship. We have a ways to go but we are on our way. Thank you God.

Please, please, please I ask you brothers and sisters for a prayer regarding my health, specifically my eating habits and taking care of my body because it is a temple of the Holy Spirit. However, the thought of that or awareness of that rarely crosses my mind on a daily basis. As a result, I’ve been having poor eating habits (Eating a meal past 9pm, eating during times when I’m not hungry, so I eat for the sake of “it’s time to eat” rather than “I’m actually hungry and so I should eat”). My stomach doesn’t rumble anymore like it used to (which I assume is because I eat late). I wake up and I’m not hungry, but I eat because I have to. So I eat because I have to, not because I want to, despite not being hungry.
I then feel bad after I have the last meal of the day because I didn’t want to eat at all, but I eat because 9pm is when my mother notifies me and my brother that she has bought food for us to eat.
As a side-note: no one is a born-again follower of Christ in this house aside from me. Or in other words, I’m the only Christian in the house. So bringing up the Holy Spirit conviction or stewardship or that my body is a temple, is out of the question.

Reflection:
God is telling his people to let go of what was, so they can receive what is coming.

This verse is not about forgetting your past it’s about not living in it.

Sometimes the biggest enemy of your future is not the devil it’s your memory.
Past pain, past trauma, past mistakes, past disappointments, past relationships…
God says:
Release it. Stop rehearsing it. Stop carrying it. Stop letting it shape who you are today.

Why?
Because God is about to do something new, and the old will only keep you stuck.

This scripture is an invitation to:
   •   Stop feeding old wounds
   •   Stop reliving old failures
   •   Stop clinging to what God has already delivered you from
   •   Stop letting your past define your worth or direction

God is saying:
“Your future is not behind you. What I’m getting ready to do requires room in your spirit.”

Isaiah 43:18 prepares your heart for Isaiah 43:19 —
“Behold, I will do a new thing.”

You cannot step into the new while holding onto the old.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Help me to release everything in my past that no longer serves your purpose for my life.
Break every chain that tries to pull me backward.
Heal every memory that still hurts.
Release me from the weight of what was, so I can walk boldly into what you are doing now.

I let go of old pain, old habits, and old patterns.
Create in me a new mindset, a new spirit, and a new expectation.
Prepare me for the new thing you are bringing forth. In Jesus holy name I pray, Amen.

Reflection:
This scripture is a powerful reminder that righteousness is not perfection it’s perseverance.

The “just man” is not upheld because he never falls, but because he refuses to stay down.
Seven is symbolic of completion, meaning the righteous may fall completely, hard, and repeatedly yet God restores them every time.

Why?
Because their foundation is God, not their failures.

But the wicked fall into mischief meaning their downfall leads them deeper into destruction. Where the righteous fall into mercy, the wicked fall into trouble.

This verse teaches you:
   •   Falling is not the end.
   •   God lifts the righteous again and again.

In Jesus, you are not defined by:

   •   who walked away
   •   what society said about you
   •   labels others tried to place on you

You are defined by your identity in Him.

This scripture also calls the church into accountability:
If Christ made us one, we must walk as one honoring one another, uplifting one another, and seeing every believer as God sees them. Unity is not optional; it is a mark of spiritual maturity.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father,

Hi, I have truly accepted Christ just half a year ago but...I have fallen short as before I had guilt related sh that I got used to and now I'm trying to not fall into it again since then, yet still fallen short few days ago. I ask for God to strengthen my faith in him that in any situation, I don't feel ashamed to come to him and don't fall short on my own understandings and methouds.

I feel grateful for this sense of peace I have within me. I’ve been praying for peace through trouble times. I’ve prayed for clarity and serenity. Lately I’ve been feeling a shift that’s changing and transitioning to someone I’m created to be. I feel grateful that my prayer life has expanded and I can hear God’s gentle voice more, following his guidance, and listening to his instructions even when it doesn’t always make sense to me. I’m grateful for this shift spiritually and mentally. I want hold on to this sense of peace as long as I can with God showing me ways to protect my peace. God’s been showing me who I am little by little, getting to understand myself better and walk accordingly. I’ve been so grateful for more brighter days. I’ve been grateful for all the blessings he’s given me. I’m grateful for the discernment he’s building in me. I am 39 years old and I am still married to my child's father. We have been living separate for over 7 years. I am trying to start the divorce proceedings so that we are both free to live our lives. Well 16 years ago before him and I met, I was having phone conversations with another man. I was going through my first divorce and the guy was only a friend I communicate with by phone. This man has been on my mind lately and I can't shake it. I only say all of this to be able to make my prayers request. I pray that both the men are blessed by God and are seeking the Lord in all their ways. I pray that if it's in God's plans for my life that I find and reconnect with the man from many years ago. I am seeking the conversations like him and I once had.
