My best friend Veauton is going through a lot. She told me she's been feeling depressed lately, and that she has gained some weight and feels insecure about that. She said to make matters worse her mom had to return all her clothes she got for her birthday cause they didn't fit. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how life doesn’t always go the way we plan, but somehow it still leads us where we need to be. Growth can be uncomfortable, and patience can be hard, but every season has a purpose. I’m learning to trust the process, to let go of what I can’t control, and to hold on to faith even in uncertainty. Everything is unfolding in its own time—and that’s okay 🤍

Today, I’m choosing gratitude. I’m thankful for life, for the little moments that bring quiet joy, and for the strength to keep going even when things aren’t perfect. I’m grateful for the people who show me love in different ways and for the lessons that help me grow. No matter what, there is always something to be thankful for—and today, my heart is full 🤍

Thank you to everyone that reacted to my last post. These last 2 weeks ive been feeling more anxious and nervous and sick again, on the verge of getting panic attacks at night when I try to sleep I jolt and get up fast and feel like im suffocating. I pray that God heals my mind and body, that he brings peace and tranquility, that he helps me prosper and find purpose, and helps me find him. I pray that I get pulled more into the Bible and take his word seriously, that I can accept the gospel without fighting back. Last night ran later than planned, and the kids had already missed their usual bedtime. I almost let our devotion slide, but I felt a quiet nudge not to. So I gathered them, we spent a little time in the Word, and we prayed together.
This morning felt different. I woke up calm instead of stressed. I gently woke the kids and prayed with each of them before the day began. Seeing that calm settle on them filled my heart in a way I can’t fully explain.
This grace isn’t just for me it’s for them too. Lord, thank You for guiding our steps, for Your patience, and for always welcoming us back, no matter how far we drift.

My journey with God has taught me patience, growth, and the true meaning of love. I’m still learning every day, but I trust His plan for my life.

I saw an older couple at the park yesterday painting the same landscape. They weren’t talking; they were just existing in the same space, doing the same thing, totally content. It reminded me that connection doesn't always have to be loud or performative. Sometimes it’s just showing up.

Honestly? Coffee and quiet. There’s nothing like that first twenty minutes of the morning before the rest of the world starts asking things of you. It’s the only time of day that feels entirely mine.

God, fill my heart this morning. Invade my thoughts. I admit i was ashamed to tell my siblings just how much I've changed for you. I admit i took offense at their judgement. Now i pray you cleanse my heart of this. I admit that often i am prideful without realizing. That sometimes i believe my life is better than others because i have you. But the truth is, that doesnt make me any better than another just because ive been blessed to know you before they have. Your timing is perfect. I admit that at some points i even thought I was missing out on something. I dont want to want anything but you. God, just the other day i spoke of how holy and perfect you are, so how am i here now? God i admit that I've lusted before. I admit that ive doubted your power. But God, i love you. I need you, even when i can't see it. We all need you. So God, cleanse my heart of it all. Again and again, day after day. I want to do what you want me to do. I want you to be in every moment of my life, on my mind not my the minute but by the second, by the moment. I feel so distant from this world sometimes. And i get confused so much, Lord. I don't know what to do so often. I overthink, and sometimes let in every thought that knocks at the door. I look in the mirror, and every time i look older than before. Time is moving, whether i move or not. God, just please, have your will be done. God, humble me time after time, convict me, knock me down every time I feel on top of the world, keep me grounded, clothe me with humility and grace, so from first look others will just know that I'm the daughter of the king. Jesus, i can't even list everything, i can't list all my sins to confess, because there is just so much, and im only 14. God, use me to change the world. Make me pure and righteous. Do whatever you want in me, Lord. I'm not letting go of you, not now or ever.

Thank You for being with me even out here, far from comfort.

Heavenly Father,
You are my source and sustainer. I come before You with trust, knowing You see every need before I speak it. Please provide for me,financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Open doors that no one can shut, and guide me toward opportunities that bring stability and peace.
Give me wisdom to manage what I have, patience while I wait, and faith when things feel uncertain. Remove fear and replace it with confidence in Your timing. Let Your provision not only meet my needs but overflow so I can be a blessing to others.
Thank You for Your constant care and unfailing love.

In the midst of life’s storms, we are reminded in Isaiah 41:10, “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” God’s presence is not only a comfort but a guiding light. Even when paths seem uncertain, His strength empowers us to move forward with courage. Trusting Him allows hope to rise where worry once lingered, and faith to bloom where doubt once shadowed. Today, step boldly, knowing you are never alone, and each small act of trust echoes into eternal impact.

Holy Spirit come, please comfort me in my regretful past life and present as well. Please heal me from the shame I feel caused by my mental illness and please open up my family and friends eyes to treating me more just even in the face of my trials with this mental illness. May You please protect my children from the adversity of the enemy and keep them in your protection, under your wing until they come to you faithfully believing You are the Father, the King of all Kings, and the Lord of Lords. Also, please speak to their hearts about who You are. In Jesus, Almighty, precious name, Amen.
