Being aligned with God is vital for being a Chirstian. It is surrender and doing the Will of the Father. It allows us to have a deeper relationship with God the more we do it daily.

We surrender by accepting what God wants and prioritizing it over yours or others. By letting God's will be done over your own, you surrender. You surrender by handing over your life and everything to God and trusting Him with all of it.

Aligning is similar to surrendering by letting your desires and wants be in line with what God wants. This path avoids sin and the more you want what God wants you will live a more holy life.

These 2 things should be practiced daily. To have a deeper connection and to willingly allow God to work through your life.

So what parts of your life are you relying on yourself or others on, what desires or wants that you know are not what God wants, do you still hold on to?

Let us pray:

Lord, we surrender to you everything and if we haven't help us surrender more. Help us not struggle and let us give to you all our concerns. Help us not try to resist you Lord, flow through us and use us for your will. Transform our hearts, minds, thoughts, desires, concerns, everything to be inline with you Lord. Remind us of what you know we need Lord. And help us follow what we have read and preached God. Help us follow your Son's example and help us be what you wnat us to be. Help us do what you want us to do. Help us say what you want us to say. And help us act how you want us to act. Your will be done not ours.
