I have a question. I want to go a week fasting without my phone or any technology because I feel God has been leading me to give him my time in silence and solitary, rather than my usual with my phone and music. How do i start? Do i need to text everyone and say I wont be available, or just get to it without looking back?

Ask God to remove your appetite for social.media or any thing that distracts you. Always pray and ask God for help. You can do it. I am fasting on facebook right now. I dont want to feel jealous of others life that triggers comparison and worries.

You don’t have to let anyone know you’re fasting, but you can let them know you’ll be away from your phone and socials for personal reasons if you want to. Other than that, just get into it 🙏
