I would like some advice. I want to hear fellow christians opinions on my situation.
I have had no friends for over 2 months because my friend group decided to leave me and make so many rumours about me to make sure I have no friends after them. they also got 150+ people to meet up somewhere they knew I was to harass me
at the start of these 2 months I had spent all of my lunch time and break time locked in the toilet hiding until it ended. this went on for a couple of weeks close to a month
then I had half term which was 10 days off.
when I got back things started getting better for me and my family. I ended up coming out of my hiding spot in the toilet to going to the library. on my first day back i went to the library and sat with a girl in my form class because she was sat alone because her friends weren’t in. then after that i sat with this girl from my maths class at lunch and kept sitting with her for 3-4 days. she even let me join her group for a school trip which I wasn’t going to go to because I had no friends but I was so grateful for the opportunity and i agreed to go with her.
the day before the trip she told her friends about the trip and how i was joining their group and 3 of her friends screamed at her and told her that if i joined she was on her own.
I ended up not going to trip at all because she apologised and said she really couldn’t
They also told her I wasn’t allowed to sit with them at lunch anymore so I went back to hiding in the toilet
Although this really and truly broke my heart it allowed me to get to talk to new people and although i didn’t have friends to sit with at lunch anymore the girl still spoke to me in lessons and some of her in lesson friends started getting close with me aswell (not people she sat with at lunch I don’t have any lessons with people she sat with at lunch)
I went back to my place in the toilets at lunch time and break time though because I had no one to sit with.
I then started going to the library instead. I would sit all by myself and study but atleast I wasn’t hiding or locked away anymore
However yesterday there is this group that sits in the library and I went and sat with them and they were all so sweet and let me sit with them and included me in all discussions.
However they are clarified as the ‘weird group’ and are all part of the lgbtq community. I feel like I don’t fit in there at all but also they just aren’t my kind of people and they do certain things that I personally don’t find acceptable or I personally agree with as a christian
Although I am very grateful for how they treated me and made me feel included I don’t know if I want to sit with them anymore but at the same time I don’t want to go back to having no one again. I also can’t just talk to anyone because people view me very badly due to the rumours and i know the rumours still go on

You don't say how old you are, but when you decide to follow Jesus Christ, these things and even worse can happen. "Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (2 Timothy 3:12) Your refuge shouldn't be the bathroom; it should be the Bible, and it should be Jesus Christ: your friend, your brother, your companion, your confidant, your teacher, your Savior, your EVERYTHING. "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." (Psalm 46:1) "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." (Psalm 119:105) Look for groups of Christian people. Many schools have one or more. If there isn't one, consider starting one with the help of your pastor, youth pastor, or Sunday School teacher. "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together." (Hebrews 10:24-25) "Two are better than one... because if either of them falls down, one can help the other up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) You are a daughter of the King, the owner of everything. No one should make you feel less than or intimidate you. "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession." (1 Peter 2:9) "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7) Your calling is to be salt and light, to bring hope and share the salvation found in Jesus Christ. "You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world." (Matthew 5:13-14) "Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16) Always remember: "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

You can have friends as long as you don’t join in their sin just talk about Jesus and tell them how good Jesus is to you and worship Jesus
