Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers during this difficult season. I’m currently working in healthcare as a DSP, but long-term I do not feel called to remain in this field. After losing my previous position at CenturyLink, I took the first work I could find in order to continue providing for my family.

Since then, finding stable and sustainable employment has been difficult. My wife is disabled and unable to work, so I am the primary provider for our household. We are currently living on a very tight budget with one vehicle while trying to keep up with rising costs of rent, utilities, fuel, groceries, and medical expenses. Because of our situation, long commutes are not an option for us at all right now.

It has now been close to a year of searching for more stable and sustainable work, and I am continuing to ask the Lord for a breakthrough, open doors, and clear direction for our family. My wife has also been hoping and praying that we may be able to get into a home by September, and while I share that hope, I am also seeking God’s will and trusting His timing in all of this.

I deeply desire not only to survive, but to eventually live with stability, provide well for my family through a reliable career, and someday, God willing, have a home where my family can truly dwell in peace and security for the rest of our years on this earth, until the Lord calls us home.

I have been seeking the Lord daily—reading my Bible, praying, asking for forgiveness, and asking the Holy Spirit to continue shaping me, strengthening my faith, and revealing areas of my life that need growth and correction. I also cast my worries, fears, and anxieties on Him, though I still struggle at times with taking them back in my thoughts after I pray.

Through this season I am also seeking guidance through prayer, mentorship, and conversations with pastors and brothers from my local church. I am continuing to ask the Lord for wisdom, direction, open doors, and personal growth where I need improvement.

I am also sincerely praying for a miracle and a true breakthrough. I believe God still answers prayer, even though this season has felt discouraging and confusing at times. There are moments where I don’t fully understand what God is doing, but I am trying to remain faithful and continue seeking Him through it all, trusting Him even when I feel unsure.

Lord, I come before You asking for Your mercy, guidance, and peace. Open doors that no man can shut. Lead me into stable and sustainable work that allows me to provide for my family with dignity and consistency. If it is Your will, provide a home for us where we can dwell in peace and security. Strengthen my faith where it is weak, steady my mind when I feel overwhelmed, and help me to trust You fully even when I do not understand the path ahead. I surrender my worries and my future into Your hands. Let Your will be done in our lives.

If anyone has wisdom, practical advice, encouragement, or even loving correction, I am willing to listen and learn. Thank you all sincerely for your prayers and support. God bless you all.
