Good day to those reading this❤️ if God is feeling distant, it is normal. Here are four things to remember.
1. God is faithful. Even if we are faithless, he is still close, and we need the Holy Spirit to acknowledge his presence.
2. Know there will be trials, just like how God was quiet while the disciples were facing the storm. He was still there.
3. Be aware of sin, God can also be quiet because of sin, be aware, and remove it.
4. Cut off what weighs you down if something is taking too much of your time limit or remove it.
I got this information from a youtube channel called Impact video ministries, Jesus loves you, God bless❤️❤️🩹🙏🕊
James 1:14-15 NASB2020
[14] But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. [15] Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it has run its course, brings forth death.
Matthew 8:23-26 NASB2020
[23] When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him. [24] And behold, a violent storm developed on the sea, so that the boat was being covered by the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep. [25] And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing!” [26] He *said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.
2 Timothy 2:13 NASB2020
[13] If we are faithless, He remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.
Hebrews 12:1-2 NASB2020
[1] Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us, [2] looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
