Good day to those reading this❤️ i want to share something i learned from a youtube channel called Impact video ministries. How to be filled with the Spirit.

1. Ask for the spirit, God is a loving father, and he will give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him

Luke 11:13 NASB2020
[13] So if you, despite being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him?”

2. Do not quench the spirit, do not sin, and if there is any sin in your life or hidden addictions, cut it off.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 NASB2020
[19] Do not quench the Spirit,

Galatians 5:17 NASB2020
[17] For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, in order to keep you from doing whatever you want.

Galatians 5:16 NASB2020
[16] But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.

3. Walk in the spirit, understand God's word, prayer, and obey other believers out of reverence for Jesus.

Ephesians 5:15-21 NASB2020
[15] So then, be careful how you walk, not as unwise people but as wise, [16] making the most of your time, because the days are evil. [17] Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. [18] And do not get drunk with wine, in which there is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit, [19] speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your hearts to the Lord; [20] always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to our God and Father; [21] and subject yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ.

4. Obey the Spirit's call, be filled with the spirit, trust in God's plan, and listen and obey the Spirit. He may open opportunities and tell you to do something specific and try to figure out if it is God.

[6] They passed through the Phrygian and Galatian region, after being forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia; [7] and after they came to Mysia, they were trying to go into Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them;
