I am 16 years old and I have never told anyone because I am ashamed, but I think I suffer from depression. Last August, after some Christian camps, I managed to have a relationship with God, but then with the start of school, I stopped meditating and praying, both because of distractions and because of the fear of not truly believing. I started to feel bad, and I have always kept this discomfort inside me along with the guilt because I had the desire to be baptized, but then, as I said, I stopped praying, etc. I could no longer pray or establish a connection with God. A couple of days ago, in a panic, I managed to ask God for forgiveness for all the things I had done and because I am a sinner by nature, and I promised Him that from that day on, I would put Him first and start praying. Regarding this... I still don't feel a connection, but I am trusting in God, so I will continue to pray for Him to speak to me and stay close to me, removing suffering (if it is His will), temptation, and distractions. I wrote here to "vent" but above all to have support in prayer. So if you want, pray for me, to keep me away from temptations, and not to let me be overcome by discouragement and illness, and pray for this connection that I seek so much, because I have seen what God does in the lives of those who follow Him, and I also desire all that peace that I have perceived. In a week, I will start two Christian camps, and I hope with all my heart that God will speak to me. This app is so encouraging, and seeing that other believers have the same doubts/fears is reassuring. Thank you.

Most of my requests for prayers has been for my health and my husbands health- we are still asking- to remove the anxiety, stress and any diseases - I’m back in Cali UCLA -I will have procedure on Tuesday and today I’m having to do a prep to prepare for the procedure. Also possible upcoming surgery- this is all GI issues. If u could pray it is greatly appreciated- I’m not working presently- short term disability due to all the tests, dr visits and procedures ect. I pray with all my medical issues I can get disability - and ss and retire and it will be enough for me to live on. Thank you for the prayers

I feel like I been in a unholy mindset for so many years it’s hard to treat what is holy, Holy! Everytime I do try I’m reminded of my imperfections and unholiness when I just want the reverence of God. One day it will just click to me as long as I keep pressing in and showing up, I will have that moment where everything that I do overthink and over analyze about will fade away. I will be able to sit in the presence of God for hours not just mins, not be pulled away or distracted. Just simply at peace.

Hello! I came to ask for a prayer again... While things went well for a few days, I distanced myself from God again, due to distractions and my laziness. Sometimes praying becomes difficult because I'm afraid of hurting God with my emotions and grievances, I'm afraid He will leave me or give up on me. A good piece of news is that I went to church yesterday for the first time (youth service), and the theme spoke to me a lot, it was about the Samaritan woman, and how her encounter with Jesus changed her life, the water the world was drinking (which was not a water that satisfies us like Jesus does). During the sermon, while holding back tears, I wasn't sure if I was feeling God, I was distracted because my ex had invited me to this service and I noticed he was looking at me, I confess I have no feelings for him, but I felt terrible for not giving my full attention and openness to the sermon. After going to church, I received the news that there would be another service on Sunday, and the day I went was Saturday, I really wanted to go to the Sunday sermon, but my father and mother didn't allow it (remembering that my parents don't like going to church, but they are Christians) my mother told me that "too much is harmful" after I asked her if I could go to the Sunday sermon and with her response, I was devastated because I loved going to church and wanted to go more, it was super interesting to go to a place where there were people like me. Going back to what was preached, I started to doubt my encounter with Jesus, which happened last year and I only went to church this year. I started to notice that both my parents and I hold onto many grievances and this prevents them from understanding the love of Christ. I want to ask for help and prayers for us, I also ask for advice! God bless you all!

Heavenly Father, I come before You with a humble heart, asking for Your divine intervention in the lives of those around us.
