Hello everyone. I want to ask you to pray for me. I am a young boys from the Netherlands. I am suddenly quite sick and am worried i will not wake up tomorrow because of a lack of sleep or something. I probably will tbh, since I've always been one to worry abt every little thing, but even then I have exams tomorrow so i hope i will feel better otherwise i have to do it sometime else and that is not fun. I’m addicted to marijuana. I have no control over it anymore and I have to be high to do (cope with) anything these days. While it may not interfere in my daily life in an obvious way (I still take care of all my responsibilities) I am feeling the Lord pull me away from this habit that is NOT helping me draw closer to Him. I ask that you Please pray for strength and self control as I navigate a 12 step program.

And just a reminder (because I used to be one of those people) - marijuana addiction is real! It may not cause the same level of life destruction as the harder drugs - but it’s still a compulsion that I have no control over.
