I am going through a rough time. New Christian, 8 months. Very loyal to God. I pray several times a day, go to church, prayer meetings and small groups. Read my Bible every day. No matter what I do I feel like I can’t get close to God. I don’t feel his presence around me and it’s makes me discouraged and sad. I don’t feel at peace and I have asked every day to be baptized by the Holy Ghost but it hasn’t happened. I feel very discouraged and feel like walking away. I keep thinking that there is something wrong with me and God doesn’t want me.

Yesterday I unfortunately witnessed a man return back to our lord while at the train station I’ve been in a position of shock and fear , anxiety and unease. I don’t know why the lord wanted me to see that and now my world has changed I do not feel happy I have nightmares about it. I’m not really sure what my issue is, I’ve struggled with depression my entire life. My childhood was rocky to say the least. I struggled with drug addiction (sober 6 years thank God for that). My creditors are chasing me, some contact my family members because they can’t reach me. It’s not that I’m running away, I’m just unprepared to face them without anything on hand yet but rest assured by God’s provision I will pay it all. Praying so hard for this. Please also pray for me that our Lord will bless all my creditors with patience, compassion and understanding.
