Hey! So I know how hard it can be to stay faithful when you feel like your drifting, but if you feel like you’re farther and you feel like you want to get farther, don’t listen to this only draw closer since you feel distant you should be doing everything you can to get closer to God! Because it is not God who leaves it is us, and he is just patiently waiting for us to return. And about the prayer thing, I also struggled with this for a while it can be hard to understand but Jesus, God, and The Holy Spirit are 3 different things but also all the same. I know that sound complicated but stay with me here. Okay so in the beginning it was just God the father but after a while with all the sins he wanted to come down and fix it, but he couldn’t just go down himself, so he he created Jesus who and he made him also God but made him God the son, and then after Jesus died we needed something to always tell us right from wrong so God created the Holy Spirit so we can feel conviction. So he put a part of himself inside us, to help lead us in the right direction. So we have God the father, then God the Son, then God the spirit. So they are all three separate but also all three together at the same time. When we pray, we pray to God, Through Jesus/ in the name of Jesus and guided by the Holy Spirit. Because Jesus said that no one can get to the father except through him. So I pray to God and I say Lord and God in my prayers because all three ( Jesus, God and The Holy Spirit) are also God, because they are all a piece of him. I really hope this makes sense, I tried to explain to the best of my abilities but if you still don’t understand it reply to me and I can try to explain it differently. Jesus loves you! Listen man, I don’t know how to help with your questions, but I’m in the same place as you I’m confused and drifting away from God and I know how hard it is cause you wish you had a friend that would show you what to do. Someone to help you .you feel lonely like God helps you but there isn’t another friend someone going through the same struggles as you I will pray for us, dear God help us with our doubt help us to come back to you. Remind us that we are not alone and their other are Christians like us and remind us have you Lord to keep us concentrated focused. May you send people in our lives friends in our lives that we can talk to that we can relate to make us part of a community give us reliance on you, Lord give us strength and wisdom as we fight this battle, and remind us to always rely on you Lord. in Jesus name we pray amen
