This verse from the Bible reminds me that everything I have and my successes are not from my own efforts but from God, and it helps me to keep myself in check and not be prideful. Ephesians 2:8-9: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
