I would like to improve my communication with God in a genuine way. May He remove the bad habits and my weaknesses that represent a barrier that constantly distances me from Him. I just want to be healed and improve my self-control.

If you've never fasted while reading his Word, I highly recommend it. Just a light fast; postpone one meal. It creates a powerful bond with the Lord that makes you feel his love and comfort. It's quality time with the Lord. And say the Lord's prayer over and over again.
