Hey everyone, I’ve been struggling with lust lately and I really want to honor God with my heart and mind. Please pray for strength so I can reject this temptation that the devil is trying to bring upon me. Thank you

And do not be afraid to come back to him to pray after falling. Satan wants you to be so ashamed of yourself to the point you wouldn't come back to him. Cause that's what true repentance is always coming to God for help after falling and showing him you desire him and his help more then your sin

Hello brother, I struggle with the same thing too. Sometimes I feel like I’m not honoring God every time I fall. But with every fall, my hatred for my sin has grown stronger. For two years I kept falling, even while He was telling me to let it go. The truth is, God will allow certain struggles to happen. He may even allow things like addiction to lust or other sins, not because He approves of them, but because He will use them to lead us back to Him. He will use it for our good. Not long ago, I fell again and felt like I was delaying my prayers and my breakthrough. In tears, I cried out to Him and told Him I was done with it. I told Him I hated my sin and asked Him to deliver me and someone I love. Immediately, I received peace and reassurance. God told me to trust Him. Brother, we must praise God even in our struggles and addictions, because when I look back, I see that if it wasn’t for my struggles, I wouldn’t be the person He is shaping me to be for someone I love. I hope this small testimony will help you. God bless you, brother.

Bible Verse for this Prayer

1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
