My best friend has given up the good fight, she’s exhausted, she gave into sin—the kind that is loud and destructive to relationships, a betrayal—even with having done everything to have prevented falling into temptation. She still failed.

She’s hiding, running, doesn’t know how to avoid the wreckage and can’t see past the pain she’s caused.

God help her, I don’t even know what to pray. Bring her back O Lord. Restore her.

I’m trying to encourage her. Trying to help her see the lies she believes. Like how she has this belief that she is broken or messed up beyond redemption or healing in THIS life or in the flesh. I don’t know how to combat this. But I see her despair. 😭💔 And she knows scripture better than I do.

The Lord desires for us to repent and return to Him, as seen in Luke 15:20, where the father runs to his prodigal son, symbolizing God's loving embrace. It says, "And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

She’s not to far gone! God will forgive her for her sins. Are you able to uplift and encourage her? Let her know all she has to do is go to the lord being honest and truthful repentance is there for her. God is waiting to welcome her back with open arms and grace. The Scripture reminds us of the boundless grace of God. In 1 John 1:9, it is written, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This assures us that no one is too far gone to be embraced by His mercy.
