Hey please could you pray for me? I’ve been out of touch with my spiritual journey and alongside that my relationship with God has kind of dissolved too. I’m struggling to feel connected to God and what surrounds me, and have a lot of anxiety and fear about many things at this present moment. Thankyou so much in advance.

Simply remember what Jesus said in Luke 15!! The parable of the prodigal son who willingly leaves the Father to go a sin and live carelessly, yet when he came back into his sense he wanted to return to the Father, he had the desire to come back to his Father. So, it tells us that he was practicing what to say to his father and as soon as he decided to come back to his dad the Father saw Him and didn’t reject him, but shouted w Joy and RAN to his son and HUGGED HIM!! That’s us!! Remember we all fall at times but it’s up to us to get up and come back to Him. In the Bible it tells us in Philippians 2:13 that it is God who puts desires in us to do His will. It’s the fact that you wanna come back to Him and that you have that desire to. Who do you think put that desire in your soul and heart ? the Holy Spirit!! That means that God is not mad at you my beloved, but He is eager for your return!! He won’t remember your sins once you repent my beloved!! He will be rejoicing that His little sheep that He lost finally is back! :))

If you've never fasted while reading his Word, I highly recommend it. Just a light fast; postpone one meal. It creates a powerful bond with the Lord that makes you feel his love and comfort. It's quality time with the Lord.
