I want to ask for something so personal to me that many "close" people don't even imagine. Please pray for me: a few years ago I was in a relationship with a person who was very abusive, who distanced me from everyone, made me depressed, increased all my problems, and left problems for me that I have to fight against to this day. As I was very young (I started dating at 15 and he was 28), I thought I loved him, I thought it was normal to go through everything I went through, as I did, because I only knew examples of relationships that resembled that and I accepted everything, only later could I realize that it was never love, it was just attachment.

Thanks to God and His mercy, I overcame deep depression, constant thoughts of death, but these problems he caused me in the past always knock on the door to remind me of my failures.

Today I am married to a wonderful man who loves me, takes care of me, who praises and supports me, and I love him like I've never loved anyone. I want to build a family with him and always be able to reciprocate all the wonderful things he makes me feel. But I still have some panic attacks from the things of the past that insist on reappearing in my life from time to time, and the more I think about advancing in my current relationship and feeling ready for it, the more I'm afraid of making mistakes as a mother and as a wife, of not being good enough, of not being a good example, of not knowing how to educate. Anyway...

I'm not quite sure what exact prayer I want to ask for, I think we can start by asking God to free me from fear, from panic attacks, to free me from the wounds of my past, and that I can overcome all of this once and for all so that I can be the best wife and mother in the world, as much as possible.
