Hello everyone! Here is a new poem I wrote about how much the Lord can change everything! 💕
(In the poem, the word "hated" refers to the past, now everything is the opposite!)
Title: Change has Changed

I used to hate my eyes
Yet with them, I see
The kind faces of many people
And the many colors that surround me

I used to hate my mouth
Yet with it, I bring smiles
To many happy couples
And with it, I speak for hours

I used to hate my nose
Yet with it, I sense scents and smells
I breathe through it
And sigh, gaining strength

I used to hate my ears
Yet with them, I hear
Ringing music
And laughter, and speech

I used to hate my hands
Yet with them, I touch everything
The soft fabric of silk dresses
And the smooth petals of flowers

I used to hate my feet
Yet I have always walked on them
And my steps wouldn't exist
If they didn't step

But, I didn't love my heart either
Yet with it, I could care
Yet with it, I could love
And, of course, gain emotions

Did I love my life?
I don't really understand that anymore
But since then, everything has changed
And the Lord's love has brought light
