Heavenly Father, in Your wisdom, You have sent Your Son, Jesus, to penetrate the shadows of my heart with His merciful light. Grant me the courage not to shy away from His searching gaze, to bear the discomfort that comes with exposure to His truth. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord, that I may behold You in all Your glory and be transformed into a likeness that mirrors the radiance of Christ. Teach me to turn my gaze from the fleeting sparkles of this world, to seek instead the enduring allure of Your presence. Above all, let me cherish You beyond all earthly temptations.
