Remember.

Before as a new Christian, I thought God was only for the perfect people, one who keep the commandments, who never disobey Him or someone who is good and holier than thou.

David- a man after God's own heart. As I came to know David a lil deeper, I've realized that he's just like all of us, his life is messy, makes mistakes too and sin against God.

But one thing about David is he remembered. David know who God is, he knows what God has done and what He is capable of doing. The great miracles and victories God has brought to Israelites since the time of his ancestors. David remembered who his God is, that He is compassionate, merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. David remembered God's promises and cling to them, meditate on them and not letting the current situation or mistakes bury who God is to him.
