A question for my Christians,

I believe that to get to heaven, it must be shown through deeds, or you must believe in God, and that only applies if you do what God wants. Just like in James 2:14-20.

However, in Ephesians 2:8-9, it says:

We cannot contribute anything to whether we get to heaven (the deed brings nothing, it doesn't matter).

So what is it now? Can you do whatever you want and still expect to get to heaven?

I don't think so, as written in James. ✝️

We receive eternal life only tough faith, however true faith in Jesus is shown in the way we live our life, of we seek him everyday, do we stay in the same sin or wanna change and ask God for help, did you get the point?

Its basically saying that you don't get to heaven by doing good deeds like donating to charity, but by pursuing God and asking for forgiveness whenever you fall into sin

James 2:17

In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
