If you've never fasted while reading his Word, I highly recommend it. Just a light fast; postpone one meal. It creates a powerful bond with the Lord that makes you feel his love and comfort. It's quality time with the Lord. And say the Lord's prayer over and over again.

According to John 15, as children of God we are constantly being cultivated to be fruitful in His eyes through our pursuit of him, and through our trials. As the other commenter stated, God's love is not conditional of good behavior. My encouragement to you is to use this insecurity about sin to drive your studies in the Bible. I can say through personal experience that reading regularly brought me closer to God and turned my weaknesses to strength. I also encourage you to read Proverbs 2. Hi Eduardo. It's good that you seek help from God with the things that you struggle with. Remember that God loves you as you are - he sent his son to die for you because he loves you more than you can possibly imagine. You do not have to become perfect to gain God's love or his acceptance of you. Remember that we are saved by faith through God's grace. Do not try to overcome your struggles in your own strength, but just tell God how you feel...that you are too weak to overcome your battles yourself, and then God will start to see God's strength worked out through your weakness. You are in a good place, because you recognise that you need God's strength to overcome your battles - God can always work with such an attitude. Don't be discouraged when you have setbacks because no man is without sin, even when we are saved. The enemy will tell you that you can never live up to God's standards for you, and that you can never please God....but that is a lie straight from hell. Lean into God, and read your bible because it is God's authority and power in your life. Also, you will learn God's perfect will and his perfect character when you read his word. Remember that you can never attain God's favour through works. God can never love you more than he does today, and he will always love you, and he will never abandon you. So give God thanks and praise for who he is, and what he has done for you in Jesus. I will certainly pray for you. Stay strong in the Lord my brother. May God put a hedge of protection around you, and may his favour be upon you. Don't give ground to the enemy by listening to his lies.
