Hello Children of God, I’m writing this for guidance in hopes that many of you could pray for me in hopes I draw closer to God more than I have already and make me feel deeply and know that He really is there and He deserves the most attention than anything else in my life. I ask you to pray for me out of the kindness of your heart and pray that I can quit smoking and doing all things God wouldn’t want me to do.

Fasting. Spend quality time with the Lord. Postpone a meal and read His Word. Repeat the Lord's prayer over and over. He will strengthen you. You'll be amazed. Always helps me Praying for you

Hey there, so rather than hoping for the feel good (see Jer 17:9) instead seek the counsel of God through his Word (Prov 2)(2 Tim 3:16-17)(Rom 15:4) build habits which will draw you closer to God such as laid out in 1 Thes 5:16-18.
