I'd like to be constantly guided by the Lord, to be closer to Him and to live for Him, while I long for a long term relationship with a girl in life, I always think I'm not ready, I want guidance by the Lord and prepare me for whatever is to come

If you've never fasted while reading his Word, I highly recommend it. Just a light fast; postpone one meal. It creates a powerful bond with the Lord that makes you feel his love and comfort. It's quality time with the Lord. And say the Lord's prayer over and over again.
