I’m doing the whole solo parenting thing as well. I’ve had full custody of my two boys (9 and 11) for 9 months now. Their mother has descended into full on mental illness and none of us have heard from her in that time. It’s a tough job without a lot of affirmation. My youngest just made a confession of faith and I have recently reembraced / rededicated myself to my faith that I had shut myself off of for years. Hang in there! You’ve got this!
