In Shubra you came, and you lit up the nights
Above the domes of Demiana, your light shone
And the people of the area witnessed with their eyes the splendor of your beauty
O Mother of God, O Queen of Heaven
In the land of Egypt, you always visit us
From Zaytoun to Shubra, and every place
You remind us that you are the mother of all humans, and you love us
Today is your feast, O pure of heart
Pray for the whole world that peace may prevail and war may end
O you who carried Jesus in your pure womb
Remember us and bless all of Egypt, and bless us.
