As I enter a new day, feeling weak,
But reassured that you are holding my hand.

Even when I don't understand everything that's happening,
I trust that you are faithful
And that your love is deeper than my pain.

In the Epiphany fast,
While I fast the body...
Renew my spirit.
Wash my heart.
And let your peace descend upon me
Just as it descended on the waters of the Jordan.

Comfort me, Lord
Because there is an unspoken pain inside me.
Strengthen me
Because sometimes I feel like I'm completely exhausted.

I love you so much, Lord...
Not because life is easy,
But because you are present in it.
And not because the pain has disappeared,
But because you carry it with me.

I entrust you with my burden,
I entrust you with my fear,
I entrust you with my whole self.

Let this day
Begin in your name
Walk in your grace
