I’ve been going through a hard time and I called a prayer line, the lady was so kind and fantastic. I’m so grateful that she spent the time to pray for me. It was 8 minutes of beinf reminded of gods love for me, and having another human wishing me the best. It really helps to feel like somebody cares and that I’m not all alone. My hard work means something even if it isn’t recognized, and god sees us as who we are, not for outward adornments. He loved me when my grades were great, I had a job and I had more friends, and he loves me now too. He loves the same, for the rich and the poor, the king and the begger, we all get a seat at the table.

To have someone to mourn with those who mourn, to have someone walk alongside me even for a short time, it really helps to see that people care. It only takes a little to keep the darkest feelings away.
