Dear God, I praise Your name. My mother, who is hospitalized, has lost her appetite and is losing weight. The doctor has mentioned the possibility of ALS. She also has heart disease, so I am very anxious. My mother is 73 years old, and I am 41, and while it may not be unusual to say goodbye at this age, my mother is still a very important presence to me. My mother says she wants to go to God after seeing me get married and be happy. I wish for that too. I pray that I find a wonderful marriage partner and that until then, my mother is not called to God's side. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
