Bible Scripture Psalm 37:3 (KJV)
“Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.”
Revelation:
Psalm 37:3 shifts the focus:
From looking at evildoers → to looking at God.
David is teaching you how to maintain peace and stability while God handles your enemies.
1. “Trust in the LORD” — Put Your Weight on Him
Trust here means more than believing
It means to lean your whole life on God.
Trust is not a feeling; it’s a posture.
It means:
   •   Depend on His timing
   •   Rest in His decisions
   •   Believe His plan
   •   Surrender your own understanding
Where trust is present, worry cannot survive.
2. “And do good” — Stay in Position
While the wicked plot, you continue to do what is right.
Why? Because your integrity is your protection.
God is saying:
Don’t let their evil change your character.
Do good even:
   •   When you are misunderstood
   •   When you are misjudged
   •   When you are mistreated
   •   When others do wrong
Your goodness is a seed.
Your obedience becomes your harvest.
3. “So shalt thou dwell in the land” — Stability is Your Portion
To dwell means to live securely, to be established, to be planted.
This is God promise:
You will not be uprooted by storms, people, or warfare.
He is securing your place, your position, and your promise.
4. “And verily thou shalt be fed” God Will Sustain You
This is not just physical food
It means God will supply everything you need:
   •   Strength
   •   Wisdom
   •   Favor
   •   Provision
   •   Direction
   •   Opportunities
   •   Spiritual nourishment
While the wicked wither,
you will always be fed.
You will never lack what you need to fulfill your purpose.
Prayer:
Father in the name of Jesus,
I thank you for calling me to trust you in every season of my life.
Teach me to lean on you without fear, doubt, or hesitation.
Strengthen my faith so that I do not waver when I cannot trace your hand.
Help me to rest in your plan knowing you are faithful, sovereign, and true.
Lord, empower me to continue doing good even when evil surrounds me.
Let my character remain pure, my heart remain steady, and my spirit remain obedient.
Establish me in the land you have promised.
Secure my position, my purpose, my calling, and my destiny.
Plant my feet so firmly that no attack, no lie, and no person can uproot me.
Father, thank you for feeding me
with provision, with wisdom, with strength, with revelation, and with favor.
Let me never lack anything necessary to fulfill your will for my life.
Today I declare:
I trust God fully.
I do good boldly.
I dwell securely.
I am fed continually.
I lack nothing.
Thank you, Lord, for being my source, my sustainer, and my stability. In Jesus favorable name I pray, Amen.
You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
