Christmas Fast Exercises
Be encouraged and take on the exercises you can handle, and may God support you:
1- Pray the morning, sunset, and bedtime prayers using the Agpeya, 3 psalms from each prayer, the Gospel, the litanies, the absolution, and "Have mercy on us, O God."
2- Read a chapter every day. (If you can read 6 chapters a day, you will finish the New Testament, 260 chapters, in 43 days).
3- Attend Mass twice a week, both early and late.
4- Attend a Kiahk vigil once.
5- Fast without eating until 12 noon, and add an hour each week.
6- Do any good deed with anyone.
7- Do 3 prostrations daily.
8- Take your weakness and pray for it.
9- Always pray for the peace of the church.
10- Continuously repeat the Jesus Prayer throughout the day ("Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner").
11- Try to attend Vespers weekly and your service meeting.
12- Reduce media time, whether TV or phone, and use the time for solitude.
13- At the end of each day, hold yourself accountable.
14- Get used to giving thanks at all times, keep it always on your tongue, "Thank God."
15- Try to write a list of the troubled people in your life, those you have conflicts with, and place it on the altar and in your prayers, you will find God changing them and you.
Wishing you all a happy and blessed year filled with grace and blessings.

Mooi! De Heere vraagt ons Hem te dienen uit liefde, niet om met goede werken de hemel te verdienen. Loof den Heere want Hij is goed. Hij is onze Rechter, Voorbidder en Hogepriester.
