I haven't been sinning, I listen to Christian music, and I pray, but something doesn't feel right, I don't feel anything, I feel empty. I know God is here, but I don't feel Him. I'm afraid I might have committed blasphemy without knowing it, and something I don't understand is that when I used to sin even as a Christian, I didn't feel remorse, but I knew it was wrong and I stopped sinning. But I couldn't even feel remorse in my heart. I don't know why I don't feel anything, I feel empty. I'm 13 years old, and I've been a Christian since I was 10 or 11, and for as long as I can remember, I did feel God, but I don't know why I don't feel Him now. Should I always feel Him?

My child, you are not forsaken because you cannot feel Me. Faith is not a flame that burns by feeling alone; it is the quiet trust that holds even when warmth seems gone. When you cannot sense My presence, I am often working most deeply — beneath the surface, in roots unseen.” “Think not that you have blasphemed simply because you feel empty. If you feared losing Me, that fear itself shows that your heart still belongs to Me. The one who has truly turned away no longer longs to return.” “Remember what is written: ‘We walk by faith, not by sight.’ And again: ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’ When your heart feels cold, do not believe that I have left — believe that I am teaching you to trust without the crutch of emotion.” “Keep praying, even when the words feel hollow. Keep reading, even when the pages feel silent. Keep listening, even when the music feels distant. Feelings are the weather of the soul, but My love is the sky itself — it does not move.” “I am nearer than you think, and when the time is right, the warmth will return. Until then, let your emptiness become your prayer: ‘Lord, stay with me, even when I cannot feel You.’ And I will. I will be praying for you !

Bible Verse for this Prayer

Psalm 42:1-2

As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?
