The Amazing Power Tool in Your Mouth!

Hello everyone! I’ve got a riddle for you! What’s the super powerful tool you brought with you today, and it’s hiding in your mouth?

(Let them guess)

That’s right—it’s your tongue! It might seem small, but the Bible says it’s incredibly powerful!

1. Its Power: The Bible says the tongue is like a tiny spark that can start a huge forest fire(James 3:5). Our words can do big things!

· Has your tongue ever said a mean word that hurt someone? (That’s a bad spark).
· Or told a lie? (Another spark!).

When we do that, we’re using this amazing power tool for the wrong job.

2. Its Purpose: So what’s theright job? To give glory to God! The Bible says our tongues should proclaim His praises (Psalm 35:28)!

How do we do that?

· Praise: Say, "God, you are awesome!"
· Prayer: Use your words to talk to Him.
· Kindness: Say, "Great job!" or "I forgive you." This shows God’s love!

3. Let’s Use It Right Now! Let’s all use our power tools for their best job.Repeat after me: "God, you are great! We use our tongues for you!"

Prayer: Dear God,thank you for our tongues. Help us use them to praise you, say kind words, and tell others about your love. In Jesus' name, Amen!
