Start listening to worship music upbeat praise him.and i need you to know my sister, that it is ok he loves you no matter what you are doing and no matter what you have done but sin separates us from God thats why you feel empty depressed not the same anymore talk to him ask for forgiveness and sometimes you have to forgive yourself because you may be begging and falling into doubt that he will never forgive its good because you hate being so far away from him but also need to know he knew what you were going to do before you even did it.And God knows everything that you have done and everything your about to do and he loves you soo much that he still made you fearfully and wonderfully and don’t forget it and i get it its doubt that “oh he doesn’t listen” “oh he doesn’t care” that is a lie Jesus loves you too much to ever ignore you he always listens he is by you’re side always.but you might be saying how could he ever well start reading your bible to combat those lies and to know that jesus loves you so much he sat with sinner’s adulterers with liars rude people and he still loved them just how God made a way for mosses he promises to make a way for you i hope this helps 🫶

Developing a more intimate relationship with God and hearing His voice clearly requires intentional steps and a heart open to His leading. Here are some practical steps you can take: ### 1. **Consistent Prayer**: - **Establish a Prayer Routine**: Set aside dedicated time each day for prayer. Speak to God honestly, expressing your thoughts, feelings, and desires. Listen for His guidance during these times. - **Practice Different Forms of Prayer**: Include adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication (ACTS) in your prayers to create a balanced conversation with God. ### 2. **Engage with Scripture**: - **Daily Bible Reading**: Make scripture reading a priority, as God speaks through His Word. Explore the Bible regularly, seeking passages that resonate with your heart. - **Meditate on His Word**: Spend time reflecting on scripture and asking God what He wants to reveal to you through it. Journaling your thoughts can help deepen your understanding and retention. ### 3. **Worship**: - **Set Aside Time for Worship**: Engage in personal or corporate worship through music, singing, or other forms of worship that draw you closer to God. - **Create a Worship Playlist**: Use worship music that speaks to your heart and helps you connect with God. Singing or listening can open your heart to His presence. ### 4. **Silence and Solitude**: - **Seek Quiet Time**: Spend time in silence, allowing space for God to speak to you. In our busy lives, finding quiet moments can help you hear His voice more clearly. - **Practice Solitude**: Regularly retreat from distractions and spend time alone with God. Use this time for prayer and reflection, fostering intimacy with Him. ### 5. **Community and Accountability**: - **Join a Small Group or Bible Study**: Surround yourself with fellow believers who encourage growth and share insights. Engaging in discussions about faith can help you hear God’s voice through others. - **Seek Spiritual Mentorship**: Consider finding a mentor or someone to guide you in your faith journey. Their experiences can offer valuable insights into hearing God. ### 6. **Obey His Leading**: - **Act on What You Hear**: When you sense God leading you in a certain direction, be willing to take steps of faith. Obedience opens the door for deeper intimacy and clarity in your relationship with Him. - **Reflect on Past Experiences**: Look back on moments when you sensed God’s leading in your life. Recognizing how He has spoken to you before can enhance your awareness moving forward. ### 7. **Practice Gratitude**: - **Keep a Gratitude Journal**: Write down daily blessings and answers to prayer, recognizing how God is at work in your life. Thankfulness cultivates a heart attuned to His voice. - **Express Praise**: Regularly express your gratitude and praise to God, acknowledging His goodness and faithfulness. This alignment with His character fosters intimacy. ### 8. **Read Devotional Materials**: - **Engage with Devotionals**: Read devotionals or spiritual books that motivate and challenge you in your faith journey. These resources can help you grow closer to God and guide you in hearing His voice. ### Conclusion: By incorporating these steps into your life, you can nurture a more intimate relationship with God and become more attuned to His voice. Remember that building intimacy takes time and patience, so approach your journey with openness and a genuine desire to grow closer to Him.
