For those who have little faith and are feeling broken, I would like to remind you that God has never abandoned you!
Is the process hurting and will it hurt even more? Certainly, but I assure you by the promises written in the Word that every moment of pain and struggle will be worth it, for the God we follow promises to be with us until the end of the age (Mt 28:20) through discipleship and seeking, and promises rest for those who are weary and burdened (Mt 11:28-30).
The God we follow has the unbreakable habit of finishing the work He started and fulfilling what He promised, and He will never let go of you from His mighty hand, and even if it is painful, it is written that: "All things work together for the good of those who love God," even evil in God's hands works for good, and we see this clearly in the Passion of our Lord.
It may seem that there is no way out nearby, whether from sexual immorality, past traumas, present pains, or anxieties about the future, but remember that God will not allow any temptation beyond what is human, the Holy Spirit is always working in you, even if this work is not tangible or visible.
