I ask for prayer for guidance and wisdom, I have just met Christ and I feel overwhelmed by the consequences of having lived without Christ. I want God to give me wisdom in all areas of my life. And that He brings me closer to God.
I ask for maturity, to forge my character, and to give me grace, mercy, and provision in this time and that I never stray from Him.

Remember you are not "overwhelmed by consequences", you are overwhelmed by guilt, and it is okay and even from one perspective awesome. You see your past sins you know you need to cut off from and you have someone that forgives you and wants to help you through it. God loves you and He helps you. God is like a new role model that gives you hope and teaches you how to follow His Path. Your life is now guided by the Holy Spirit.
