I’m overwhelmed with the Bible. I just feel like there is so much idk. I read the gospels many times but I still feel like Jesus is out of reach. I’m having a hard time accepting the gospel. I’m just losing hope over all. I hate feeling hopeless it just makes me not want to read my bible. Everytime I open up my bible I just get overwhelmed and I want to scroll on my phone. I just hate it. Please help

Sister read the Bible everyday model yourself after Christ, and practice the fruits of the spirit always. Resist the ways of the world and rely on Jesus and you will be strengthened. The Bible says the lord will give us to our desires, so if you’re seeking him first he will be there but if not you have to be careful! Have faith in God and read the word, pray his will be done in your life and ask forgiveness of your sins.

Querida Marie, estas viendo las cosas de un ángulo equivocado, ninguno podemos alcanzar a Jesús y eso es lo hermoso, que no mereciendo Jesús vino a buscarnos y dice su palabra que él nos amó primero, no debemos sentirnos indignos de Jesús, porque él con su sangre nos a limpiado grande fue su amor demostrado en la cruz.

My advice : Don’t just read bible as people use to… some says read the whole bible in a year some even gone far saying read whole bible two times in a year, with who are we competing… Such way we can’t enjoy the word of God… 1 chapter a day with enough time meditating on that single verse is going a long way and reinforce the faith and making your faith stronger Try it and see

You're not alone. It can be very overwhelming sometimes. I'm glad you're trying. God bless. I found the book of Luke to be a good starting place. I had the same problem until I started my youth group at church and we read the book of Luke. I found watching Bible study videos on YouTube to help as I read a handheld Bible and looking up books of commentary on the chapter I was reading. Then ask Bible chat to give you questions on the chapter. I did 1 chapter a week

Have you done a light fast? Read His Word on an empty stomach. It's very powerful. The Holy Spirit will comfort you. Repeat the Lord's prayer until you feel the touch of the Holy Spirit
